Boney Kapoor letter: Sridevi, my love, was axis around which our family ran

Sridevi, whose last rites were performed on Wednesday, lived her life with "dignity", her family said in a statement, while requesting the media to give the family the space to grieve her untimely death.
The Bollywood icon's husband, film producer Boney Kapoor, also released a statement on Wednesday saying the loss was "inexplicable in words". "To the world she was their Chandni ...their Sridevi... but to me she was my love," the filmmaker wrote in a post that he shared from his wife's Twitter handle.

On the lines of the statement released by the family, Kapoor also urged media to respect the family's need to grieve privately.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sridevi was cremated in Vile Parle crematorium with full state honours. Hundreds of thousands of people, including Bollywood celebrities, joined the film star's family to bid adieu to the first lady superstar of India.

The last rites were performed by the actress' daughters Janhvi and Khushi before the body was consigned to flames in the electric crematorium with husband Boney Kapoor standing by.

To avail of the Reliance Big TV set-top box at effectively zero cost, you need to book the DTH from the company’s official portal by paying a booking amount of Rs 499. Another sum of Rs 1,500 needs to be paid once the DTH is delivered, for installation and other services.
However, the total sum of Rs 2,000 is refundable after successful completion of three years in the form of recharge.

According to terms and conditions of the offer, you need to do a monthly recharge of Rs 300 from second year onwards for two consecutive years. At the end of three years, the company would refund a sum of Rs 2,000 in the form of recharge.
The offer comes bundled with free access to up to 500 free-to-air channels for five years and one year of free subscription to paid channels.

Fortis Healthcare trades flat despite poor December-quarter earnings

Fortis Healthcare was trading flat on Thursday even after the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 191 million for the quarter ended December 2017 against a profit of Rs 4.5 billion year-ago periods.
At 12:15 pm, the stock was trading at Rs 161, up 0.7%. On comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was ruling at 34,120, down 0.2%.

The stock hit a high and low of Rs 167.4 and 156.9 respectively, so far in trade.
The company also reported its September quarter net loss at Rs 236.1 million after it had sought a 15-day extension to declare earnings for the second and third quarter of the current financial year citing statutory auditors' inability to complete the audit before the stipulated board meeting.
The results of Fortis Healthcare come amid controversy and scrutiny of the company's finances over alleged regulatory lapses in transfer of funds to some promoter-linked firms.
Total income during the December quarter stood at Rs 11.6 billion. It was Rs 11.9 billion in the same quarter previous fiscal.

ICICI Bank trades lower for third straight day; hits over two-month low

ICICI Bank was trading lower for the third straight day, down 2.7% to Rs 305, an over two-month low on the BSE in intra-day trade on Thursday.
The stock of private sector lender hit its lowest level since December 12, 2017. In past three trading sessions, ICICI Bank was down 6.7% against 0.89% decline in the S&P BSE Sensex.
ICICI Bank on Wednesday after market hours said that the Bank is a part of the working capital lender consortium in the Gitanjali group of companies along with several other banks wherein its exposure is not the largest.

“The bank has no exposure to the Nirav Modi’s group of companies, nor has the Bank issued any Letter of Undertakings (LOUs); nor has any buyer’s credit exposure against LOUs  with respect to the Nirav Modi group of companies as well as the Gitanjali group of companies,” ICICI Bank said on clarification with reference to the media report titled, "ICICI Bank has exposure to Gitanjali Group, not Nirav Modi firms; CBI questions bank's executive director".

Godrej Agrovet rallied 10% to Rs 667 on the BSE in early morning trade in otherwise subdued market on back of heavy volumes.
The stock of Godrej Group Company was up 45% against issue price of Rs 460 per share hit its highest level since listing on October 16, 2017. It made a strong debut by gaining 30% to close at Rs 596 on debut day.

After listing, till February 2, 2018, before announcing December quarter (Q3FY18) results, it underperformed the marking by falling 6% against 5% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex. Post Q3FY18 earnings, the stock surged 19% against 0.17% decline in the benchmark index.
